CAT 2022 Notification Out: IIM Bangalore To Conduct CAT 2022, Know Dates, Fees & Exam Highlights

CAT 2022: CAT 2022 Official notification is finally out on July 31, 2022. This year Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM, Bangalore) is going to conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022. CAT 2022, the entrance test for admissions in the prestigious Management Colleges in India, is scheduled to be conducted on November 27, 2022.

CAT 2022: Important Dates

This year the Common Admission Test (CAT 2022) is going to be conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. As per the schedule released by IIM, Bangalore, here are the important dates starting from the date of registration to declaration of results of CAT 2022.

• Registration opens: August 03, 2022 (10:00 am)
• Registration closes: September 14, 2022 (5:00 pm)
• Admit card download: October 27 – November 27, 2022
• Test date: November 27, 2022
• Result declaration: Second week of January, 2023 (Tentative)

Last year i.e. in 2021, The Common Admission Test was conducted on November 28, 2021 by Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. This year, CAT 2022 will be conducted in 150 cities across India. Candidates will be given the option to select any six test cities in order of their preference.

CAT 2022: Examination Fees

CAT 2022 Examination fee will be paid in online mode only. A candidate needs to pay the registration fees only once, irrespective of the number of institutes he/she is applying for. Candidates need to note that once the fee is submitted it can not be refunded. Here is the detailed information of category wise application fee of CAT 2022.

SC/ST and PwD category Candidates: 1150/-
General and OBC category Candidates: 2300/–

CAT 2022: Eligibility

Common Admission Test is conducted once a year for admissions to various Post Graduate and Fellow/Doctorate programmes of Indian Institute of Managements. The scores of Common Admission Test are also acceptable in Non-IIM member Institutions. Students may visit the official website of CAT to know about these colleges. Here is the eligibility criteria for a student to appear in CAT.

• Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% of marks or 45% in case of SC/ST/PwD, from a recognised University or College.
• Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination are also eligible to appear in the exam.
• Or he/she should have completed a professional degree like CA/CS/ICWA or can be a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI)) with required percentage.
