The Consortium of NLUs(National Law Universities) has released the CLAT 2023 application form today, August 08, 2022. CLAT is conducted for both LLB and LLM programmes.
Eligible and interested candidates can apply on the official website, consoortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The exam will be conducted in offline mode. The last date to apply for this year’s CLAT 2023 exam is November 13, 2022.This is the first time two CLAT exams are being held in the same year. The CLAT 2022 process was completed in July 2022.
Eligibility for CLAT 2023 Exam
The eligibility criteria for the CLAT exam are as mentioned below-
LLB(5 years course) – Candidates should have completed Class 12(with at least 45% marks), while for SC & ST candidates, it is 40%.
LLM(2 years course) – Candidates applying for CLAT LLM 2023 must have completed at least graduation in law from a recognised university with at least 50% marks, while for SC & ST candidates, it is 45%.
CLAT syllabus 2023
The UG CLAT 2023 examination will have 150 MCQ questions. The subjects will be general knowledge, logical reasoning, quantitative ability, legal aptitude and English comprehension.
While the PG CLAT 2023 will consist of questions on various subjects of LLB programmes.

CLAT 2023 Exam Pattern
There will be a total of 150 questions. Each question is of 1 mark. However, the subjects are divided by these criteria.
Legal Reasoning 36-39 questions
English Language 27-32 questions
Current Affairs, including General Knowledge 35-40 questions
Logical Reasoning 28-31 questions
Quantitative Techniques 13-17 questions
CLAT 2023: Application Fee
The CLAT application fee is Rs. 4,000 for general/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates.
For SC/ST/BPL candidates, it is Rs. 3.500.
Candidates can only submit the fee online via net banking, credit card or debit card options.
However, if the candidates opt for the previous year’s question papers, they will have to pay an extra Rs. 500.
Steps to fill CLAT 2023 application form
Candidates are advised to follow the steps mentioned below to fill out the application form for CLAT 2023.
1. Visit consoortiumofnlus.ac.in.
2. If you are an old user, fill in your credentials, and if you are a new user, click on “register as a new user” and create an account using your mobile number and email ID.
3. Fill in the CLAT 2023 application form and submit the application form.
4. Complete the fee payment.
CLAT 2023 exam will be conducted on December 18, 2022, and this CLAT exam is accepted by 22 law universities and several affiliated colleges.
